In 2025, China's electrolytic aluminum output reached 45.02 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in December 2025, the value-added of the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 4.8% year-on-year, and the cumulative value-added from January to December increased by 6.8% year-on-year. In December, the output of the ten non-ferrous metals stood at 7.21 million tons, up 4.9% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to December reached 81.75 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. Among them, electrolytic aluminum output in December was 3.87 million tons, up 3.0% year-on-year; electrolytic aluminum output from January to December totaled 45.02 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%.
